3 Tips to Optimize Your Website Using the Power of SEO

Search Engine Optimization (SEO), is a major component in creating an optimal website experience for your potential customers, in addition to making it rank high on search engines. Before customers make a huge purchase decision, almost all of them visit a search engine to get more information. If your website hasn’t been optimized, then most potential customers won’t find you. New Paragraph

Secure Your Site

You are probably thinking your website is a mini Fort Knox and that it’s pretty secure website, but how can you really tell? With the vast array of cybercrimes, your customers want to know that you can keep their personal information safe. An easy way to confirm that it is secure is with the beginning of a URL. If you have customers entering sensitive data on your website, such as credit card information, your URL should start with HTTPS. This shows users that the website is properly encrypting information.

Don’t Forget the Tags!

A title tag is the title of a webpage that shows up in a search, on search engines. SEO LOVES these tags, because they can tell users what to expect on that page. These title tags also appear at the top of web browsers and their tabs, making it easy for those with multiple tabs open to go back to the tab with your website.

Keywords Are Everything!

If you haven’t done the work to find specific keywords to use in your website so that people can find you, you’re doing your business a grave disservice. Without knowing or using your specific keywords, search engines will not be able to rank or find your website.

Don’t know how to start your keyword search? Ask yourself the questions that your potential customers would ask. And get specific. If you skip this SEO step, don’t be surprised when people can’t find you on Google.

If you are looking to get your website out in front of more people, then SEO is a step you cannot skip. Without an optimized website, you are losing hundreds of potential customers.
